Edison ha presentato oggi il piano di sviluppo industriale al 2030. Nel periodo considerato il gruppo aumenterà la propria capacità rinnovabile installata, tra eolico, fotovoltaico e idroelettrico, dagli attuali 2 GW a 5 GW al 2030 grazie a investimenti per 3 miliardi di euro. Tali risorse saranno destinate a impianti di nuova realizzazione e integrali ricostruzioni.
Attualmente Edison vanta in Italia circa 1,1 GW di potenza tra impianti eolici e fotovoltaici, ma entro il 2030 potrebbe realizzare 1,5 GW di nuovi impianti. Di questi, 800 MW saranno legati all’eolico mentre 700 MW al solare.
«Abbiamo una robusta pipeline di sviluppo di impianti da fonti rinnovabili che ci permetterà di realizzare nuova potenza eolica e fotovoltaica per 1.500 MW nei prossimi tre anni, di cui 1.300 MW nel sud Italia, 100 MW nel centro e 100 MW nel nord del Paese», dichiara Marco Stangalino, executive vice president power asset di Edison. «Siamo anche impegnati nello sviluppo di ulteriore capacità da rinnovabili per la produzione dell’idrogeno verde e di 1 GW di sistemi di stoccaggio e flessibilità come i pompaggi idroelettrici e le batterie al 2030».
